Fondly known as ‘Bebo’ Kareena Kapoor Khan, she is a legendary Bollywood actress who has reigned the silver screen since 2000 with six Filmfare Awards. Be it her iconic character of ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, the bubbly character of ‘Geet’ from ‘Jab We Met’, or the unconventional character of ‘Chameli’ from ‘Chameli’, every role that she has played with so much conviction, has made her a megastar that she is today!

From light-hearted romantic comedies to intense crime dramas, Kareena’s talent is as dynamic as her personality. Born into the illustrious Kapoor family, Kareena is the daughter of actors Babita and Randhir Kapoor, and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. This legacy set the stage for her acting career, which began with her debut in J. P. Dutta's ‘Refugee’ (2000), where she was lauded for her portrayal of ‘Naaz’, a Bangladeshi girl during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

She was the first Indian actress to launch her line of clothing for women through her association with the retail chain Globus. In 2018, she expanded her entrepreneurial ventures by launching her line of cosmetics with Lakmé, which was well-received in the market.

Her autobiographical memoir, 'The Style Diary of a Bollywood Diva,' although criticized for its breezy writing, offered insights into her life and career. In 2021, she released the 'Pregnancy Bible’. 

An advocate for education, Kareena has been working with UNICEF since 2014 to promote the education of girls and improve the quality of education in India. Her off-screen life, marked by her outspoken and assertive nature, has made her a subject of widespread media coverage.

Kareena has also captivated audiences on stage through several successful tours and performances worldwide. Her first tour, 'Heartthrobs: Live in Concert' (2002), was a resounding success in the United States and Canada. She later participated in the 'Rockstars Concert' world tour in 2006 and 'Temptation Reloaded' in 2008, performing in various countries and earning acclaim for her stage presence.

In addition to her film and stage work, Kareena has made a mark in the radio and television industries. She hosts the popular radio show 'What Women Want' on Ishq FM, which earned her a nomination at the New York Festivals Radio Awards for 'Best Talk Show Host.'

The show has been renewed for multiple seasons due to its positive reception. In 2019, she served as a talent judge on the dance reality show 'Dance India Dance’.
